At the end of the monologue about the financial crisis, he says of Congress - "It's not their jobs, but yours, that I'm concerned about..... Welcome to Huckabee."

The College Democrat young woman I talked to was first...

asking about whether it's right to ask about Obama's faith. Mike says what he wants is for a politican to be honest about it, and why they believe what they believe.

Now there's parenting advice (a guy I never saw in the waiting room asked advice, since he's going to become a father in January).

Lots of funny comments, but then congratulations - and "no substitute for loving your children, and love is spelled T-I-M-E."

I'm impressed that he's taking unscripted questions.

In the applause shots you can see Jim Pinkerton, as well as Sarah and Janet.

They have gone to commercial, saying Elizabeth Hasselback is up next.

What about the other questions? A guy next to us, Brian, as well as our own Leslie were to ask questions... I wonder if they ran out of time, or if they'll do it again later in the show?

Now the interview with Elizabeth - who (for those without cable and who care) - is wearing a fabulous houndstooth jacket (large print) with black skirt and white and black heels -and huge dangling earrings.

(Mike's tie doesn't look pink to me - it's almost purple. Red Central, can you see that??)

They're talking the View, then the debate last night, and then - wow - a clip is aired from Rev. Wright's message, the God D--- America - clip. And Mike says that Obama was on the View after that - and he shows a clip of Hasselback's exchange with Obama about that, when she challenges him on the Wright association. (I never saw that - Obama looks alsmot confused and surprised that she's asking). Obama says I never heard the messages you're referencing out of 20 years. It's like 'the five stupidest things you've ever said,' Obama says. She counters with 'these are sold on the DVD at the church.'

Mike asks her - had you prepared for this exchange? She jokes at first, but then says she wants to be a voice for people who thinks like she does - and that this important man in Obama's life suddenly - when he said anti-American things - became unimportant in that man's life.

She said it's been a privilege to sit with the candidates.

Mike asked about the different treatment the candidates got (does she think it was fair)? She says, in fairness, they were of very different times.

He said he would ask about the reaction to Sarah Palin next, and went to commercial.

(The front row is like a half row on the left. When they pan to the right, you see Del and Leslie in the front of the right side.)

Yeah, this was a problem for me. I think he should have gave us a little info on what the show is about in that monologue.

About Sarah Palin (with Hasselback) - about the mom issue, 'you're a mom, too - did you find there was a different treatment of her?'

EH: Working moms can multi-task, and she has support from her husband, etc. You learn when to ride the wave with each other. A lot of the backlash has come from feminist groups - who think a woman in the White House is a backward step unless she represents what they believe. I"m sure you know - being a governor is a tough job, but they wont' give her credit, since they don't hold to her politics.

MH - would she be a good VP?
EH - I think so, to look at your own party in the face and speak against corruption is a huge qualification. Her knowledge about oil, her experience about the national guard - I got to meet her briefly, and my gut instinct is that she's good.

Then she gave Mike a T-shirt that says "Great Ameri-Cain Hero" (the Mc) is there, too) - she designed the T-shirt.

MH says I support John McCain as you do, but what if Obama wins? They talk about being Americans first, etc.

Over Mike's shoulder is a scroll of red letters, "Huckabee...Huckabee."

Next will be three experts on finances, apparently.
